An update on product renewal of
Bi-directional DC Power Supply `biATLAS-D’

We thank you all for your continued support. We have renewed 'Bi-directional DC Power Supply `biATLAS-D' based on many feedbacks received from our valuable customers.
Point-1: bi [Business Intelligent] Function equipped
Capable of an automatic measurement by connecting each equipment to the PC application coming with Headspring's bi-directional power supply and building a measurement environment.
Point-2: More flexibility
We are launching 10kW.
Thanks to parallel connection (10kW), series connection (10 kW), and single unit (5kW) x 2, it can be used in versatile operations.
*There can be changes depending on development conditions.
1. Major renewal contents
- Our well received bi technology “Easy-Systemizable power supply” has further evolved. Tools attached to biATLAS enable to configure an automatic control and measurement system linked with various instruments more easily than ever before.
- Each of 525 V model and 80 V models in the product lineup, are consolidated into 2 varieties of 5kW (single unit) and 10kW (2 units set). *1
- To discontinue the booster product [biATLAS-D Booster]. After renewal, all the shipped complete unit will be of a master operation specifications. Along that, all units can be operated as 2 units of 5kW bidirectional DC power supplies, in case of buying a 10kW product. *2
- To attach the former optional functions of CAN/LAN communications, DIO, serial connection to all products as standard. *3
- To change the product design [appearance, color etc] *4
*1: The renewed products are meant to be capable to utilize with the biATLAS-D bought so far.
*2: All the booster product biATLAS-D Booster bought so far can be continuously used as a booster just as before. Also, a paid upgrade is available from biATLAS-D Booster to the biATLAS-D operatable as a master.
*3: The paid options of CAN/LAN communications, DIO and serial connection for the biATLAS-D bought so far can be available.
*4: After all the inventory is over, it will sequentially be switched to the new design.
So far the name of he biATLAS-D has been ‘DC Regenerative Power Supply’ , after the renewal it will be renamed to ‘Bi-Directional DC Power Supply’. By directly expressing that is ‘Bi-directional” device that can be used as both power supply and an electronic load, we hope that it will be easier for more customers to understand the features of biATLAS.

Applicable from quotation issued in April 2023.
Regarding the product color, to start offering white one after finishing the current shelf stock.
