Realization of local production and

The power situation in emerging countries is by no means good. Infrastructure development in urban areas is progressing rapidly, but the stability of the power system is low, and there are many areas where power outages occur frequently. In addition, it is not uncommon for electricity-free areas to be scattered just a short distance from urban areas. We are proposing and providing solutions focusing on local production and consumption of energy, mainly in such areas. While utilizing domestic and overseas products and services, and making full use of our network with emerging countries and advanced power conversion technology, we provide solutions that match local needs such as disaster prevention and environmental measures.

Energy storage system

By combining power conversion modules such as bi-directional DC/AC and bi-directional DC/DC with control software as appropriate, we support the commercialization of power storage systems with a high degree of freedom in simple configurations. We also support grid connection and various certifications based on abundant experience.

Development results

We have jointly developed with Alps Alpine Co., Ltd. a power conversion module (dedicated design product) for mass production of energy storage system equipment.

Characteristics

  • - By adopting SiC-MOSFET devices and installing reactors using Alps Alpine Co.,Ltd.’P022 liqualloyTM, we succeeded in reducing the size of the equipment to about 1/3 of the existing product while maintaining a highcapacity of 4.5kW.

Fusion of power storage system and mobility (electric power IoT platform)

Looking ahead to future EV shifts, we will build an information network that connects microgrids, EV exchange station operators, and EV users, and realize various services by using electric power interchange using EV. In the event of a disaster, power is exchanged using EV, and the location of the storage battery (EV) and the remaining power are shared on the map. In emerging cities, smart cities, we will build electric power networks that reduce investment in cable infrastructure. In this case, EV is used for power transmission and distribution, so there is no need to convert DC to AC, improving efficiency and reducing equipment. In addition, EV mobility services can provide legs in areas where power is unstable.
